Today’s challenge was to wear something that was purchased on sale. Well, 75% of my closet would be categorized by sale/coupon shopping and then another 22% would fall under very affordable to begin with. The last 3% would be labeled as WORTH IT!
Shirt – New York and Company (BOGO 50% plus 50% off coupon), Jeans – Old Navy – 50%, Necklace – gift from MIL, Earrings – purchased in Maine  , Shoes – Target
I am trying to push myself into wearing things that I haven’t worn in the past. I don’t really wear my skinny jeans without boots. I think that I have worn them like this twice (including today). I do this because I am not sure that my body has the right proportions for skinny jeans without boots, plus I am short – so the material bunches at my ankles. I also don’t wear flats very often. I also don’t wear flowy tops with out tucking them in or wearing a structured cardigan or blazer over top. I really liked the vibe of this outfit though.
The Hubs said it wasn’t his favorite outfit… and that is ok. I know that he doesn’t really like skinny jeans or shapeless shirts (as he calls them) so combining them was never going to win him over. 🙂 I really like the simplicity of the colors with the interest coming from my leopard shoes and teal earrings.
Today, we went over to our friends’ house and had brunch. It was great to catch up and hang out. The food/ cocktails were also amazing!
Excited about rocking some bold lipstick tomorrow.
